Bassworks heel joint

Bassworks is continually innovating.

A few years back we designed a special heel joint.

We now put it into most of our basses and guitars as standard.

The joint enhances sonic coupling and neck to body alignment.

To the rear, the body is also scalloped out for free and comfortable access to the higher frets.

It is as far from a traditional heel pocket as you could probably imagine, but viewed from the outside you just can't tell! We don't show the internal geometry because there are too many copycats out there!
